la pregunta de cu\u00e1ntos huevos es bueno comer, una nueva investigaci\u00f3n apunta que se pueden comer 12 o m\u00e1s huevos a la semana sin que se produzca un aumento del riesgo cardiovascular.<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Ya sucedi\u00f3, de alguna manera, cuanto tuvimos que pedirle <strong>perd\u00f3n al <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sanalala.es\/en\/bajar-el-colesterol-sin-medicamentos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">colesterol<\/span><\/a><\/strong>, ante las evidencias de que el colesterol de los alimentos no era tan perjudicial como se cre\u00eda.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Sin embargo, la sospecha sobre algunos alimentos, como por ejemplo los huevos, ha seguido rondando sobre nuestras despensas.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Mucha gente sigue todav\u00eda <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">formul\u00e1ndose<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> las mismas preguntas. \u00bfEs bueno comer muchos huevos? \u00bfCu\u00e1ntos huevos puedo comer? Y, \u00bfcu\u00e1ntos puedo comer si tengo colesterol?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 lang=\"zxx\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Cuantos_huevos_son_buenos_segun_la_ciencia\"><\/span>Cu\u00e1ntos huevos son buenos seg\u00fan la ciencia<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/ajcn\/advance-article-abstract\/doi\/10.1093\/ajcn\/nqy048\/4992612?redirectedFrom=fulltext\"><span style=\"color: #0066b3;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><u><b>Esta nueva investigaci\u00f3n<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> viene a sumarse a los hallazgos que ya apuntaban diversos estudios al respecto de la inocuidad <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">a nivel cardio<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">vascular del consumo de huevos. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">El estudio <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">fue realizado por investigadores de la Universidad de Sidney y otras instituciones australianas. Su duraci\u00f3n fue de<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> 12 meses <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">y su <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">principal particularidad es que se llev\u00f3 a cabo con pacientes que padec\u00edan diabetes tipo 2 o prediabetes <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">(N=128 pacientes).\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0Para este tipo de pacientes las recomendaciones <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">actuales <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">se\u00f1alan que deben limitar su consumo de huevos y alimentos ricos en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sanalala.es\/en\/bajar-el-colesterol-sin-medicamentos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>colesterol<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">L<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">os participantes fueron divididos en dos grupos. Uno consumi\u00f3 12 o m\u00e1s huevos por semana y el otro consumi\u00f3 menos de 2 huevos por semana durante los 12 meses de duraci\u00f3n del estudio.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">A los 3 primeros meses sigui\u00f3 otra fase de 3 meses m\u00e1s en los que se <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">llev\u00f3 a cabo una restricci\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica en el contexto de <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">una <strong>dieta de reducci\u00f3n de peso<\/strong>. Mientras, se continuaba con el consumo estipulado de huevos.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Finalmente, el estudio concluy\u00f3 con un seguimiento de 6 meses m\u00e1s con el consumo de huevos establecido en origen.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3 lang=\"zxx\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Numero_de_huevos_recomendados\"><\/span>N\u00famero de huevos recomendados<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Los resultados del estudio reflejaron una p\u00e9rdida de peso similar en los dos grupos (de unos 3 kg de media) y sin diferencias en los <strong>marcadores cardiometab\u00f3licos.<\/strong>\u00a0Entre ellos se encontraban los <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sanalala.es\/en\/medir-los-niveles-de-glucosa-sin-pinchazos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #0066b3;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><u><b>niveles de glucosa sangu\u00ednea<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">, los l\u00edpidos plasm\u00e1ticos y los marcadores de inflamaci\u00f3n y estr\u00e9s oxidativo.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">De este modo, el consumo de huevos no determin\u00f3 un aumento del riesgo cardiovascular en los pacientes con diabetes tipo 2 o prediabetes.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\" lang=\"zxx\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Debilidades_del_estudio\"><\/span>Debilidades del estudio<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"zxx\">Para empezar, se trata de un estudio subvencionado por la <em>Australian Egg Corporation<\/em>. Esto de entrada no tiene por qu\u00e9 ser un problema, pero nos pone un poco en alerta. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"zxx\">Por otro lado, la fase de 3 meses de dieta reducida en calor\u00edas con consejos a\u00f1adidos de sustituir la ingesta de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sanalala.es\/en\/cual-es-grasa-buena\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>grasa saturada<\/strong><\/span><\/a> por grasa mono y poliinsaturada podr\u00eda enmascarar el efecto espec\u00edfico de la ingesta de huevos. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"zxx\">Si miramos la bibliograf\u00eda cient\u00edfica sobre este tema nos daremos cuenta de que existe bastante controversia.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">En <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/article\/10.1007%2Fs00394-018-1692-3\"><span style=\"color: #0066b3;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><u><b>otra in<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #0066b3;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><u><b>v<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #0066b3;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><u><b>estigaci\u00f3n<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> tambi\u00e9n reciente, <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">se hizo un seguimiento durante 10 a\u00f1os de una poblaci\u00f3n cercana a las 30.000 personas sin problemas cardiovasculares de partida. En ella se estudi\u00f3 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">la relaci\u00f3n entre el consumo de huevos y la salud. Se concluy\u00f3<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0que el <strong>riesgo cardiovascular<\/strong> y la mortalidad por todas las causas no se ve\u00edan aumentados por el consumo de 1 huevo al d\u00eda. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Incluso, se apreci\u00f3 una ligera disminuci\u00f3n del riesgo de <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">padecer<\/span><\/span> <span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">i<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">ctus con ese consumo de huevos. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">However, <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41387-018-0033-1\"><span style=\"color: #0066b3;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><u><b>en otro estudio de cohortes<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Lato;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> los resultados s\u00ed mostraron un aumento del riesgo cardiovascular asociado a un mayor consumo de huevos en pacientes con diabetes tipo 2.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 lang=\"zxx\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Comer_huevos_sin_limite_ciencia_o_temeridad\"><\/span>Comer huevos sin l\u00edmite: ciencia o temeridad<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p lang=\"zxx\">Ante esta falta de consenso, es prudencial tener un consumo moderado de huevos, como de cualquier otro alimento espec\u00edfico.
