Tambi\u00e9n se\nconoce como transaminasa glut\u00e1mico-oxalac\u00e9tica (<strong>GOT<\/strong>).<\/li><li>Alanina amino-transferasa (<strong>ALT<\/strong>). Tambi\u00e9n conocida\ncomo transaminasa glut\u00e1mico-pir\u00favica (<strong>GPT<\/strong>).<s><\/s><\/li><li>Gammaglutamil transferasa o gammaglutamil transpeptidasa\n(<strong>GGT<\/strong> o <strong>\u03b3GT<\/strong>).<s><\/s><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por otro lado, tambi\u00e9n se estudian otra serie de par\u00e1metros relacionados con el funcionamiento del h\u00edgado. Entre ellos destacan la <strong>bilirrubina<\/strong> y la <strong>fosfatasa alcalina<\/strong>, entre otros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Transaminasas_altas\"><\/span>Transaminasas altas<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los niveles normales, tanto de <strong>AST\/GOT<\/strong> como de <strong>ALT\/GPT<\/strong> se sit\u00faan por debajo de 40 UI\/L. Estas enzimas pueden alcanzar concentraciones m\u00e1s elevadas en diversas enfermedades hep\u00e1ticas, como hepatitis autoinmunes. Tambi\u00e9n en enfermedades en las que se acumulan metales, como la hemocromatosis (el hierro se acumula de modo anormal en el h\u00edgado), o la enfermedad de Wilson (en la que se acumula en el h\u00edgado otro metal, el cobre). Finalmente, tambi\u00e9n pueden aumentar los niveles otras situaciones como la <strong>ingesta de alcohol<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los valores muy elevados de transaminasas son caracter\u00edsticos de una lesi\u00f3n hep\u00e1tica aguda. Esta puede estar provocada por virus (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sanalala.es\/en\/hepatitis-transmision-vacunas-y-tratamientos\/\">hepatitis virales<\/a><\/strong>), medicamentos, venenos qu\u00edmicos o isquemia (falta de aporte sangu\u00edneo). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sin embargo, en una cirrosis hep\u00e1tica avanzada, con un da\u00f1o extenso e irreversible del h\u00edgado, los valores pueden ser normales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"GGT\"><\/span>GGT <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los valores normales de la GGT se sit\u00faan por debajo de 45 UI\/L. En los hombres se puede llegar a 65 UI\/L, siendo, en general, valores proporcionales a la masa corporal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los valores de GGT suelen estar elevados en casos de <strong>alcoholismo<\/strong>, por lo que se ha propuesto como <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/?term=ggt+alcoholism\">indicador bioqu\u00edmico<\/a><\/strong> para detectar el abuso de alcohol. Tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n aumentados los niveles de GGT  en casos de cirrosis, pancreatitis, obstrucci\u00f3n de las v\u00edas biliares y en determinados tumores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bilirrubina\"><\/span>Bilirrubina<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La bilirrubina es una sustancia pigmentada resultante de la degradaci\u00f3n de la hemoglobina presente en los <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sanalala.es\/en\/analisis-de-sangre-hemograma\/\">gl\u00f3bulos rojos<\/a><\/strong>. Se elimina a trav\u00e9s del h\u00edgado, que la excreta junto con la bilis. La bilis se almacena en la ves\u00edcula biliar, desde donde se vierte hacia el intestino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los niveles plasm\u00e1ticos de bilirrubina\ntotal deben ser inferiores a 1,3 mg\/dL. Existen dos\nfracciones, la directa o conjugada (unida a otra mol\u00e9cula que facilita su\nexcreci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de la bilis), que normalmente es inferior a 0,4 mg\/dL, y la\nindirecta o no conjugada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cuando la bilirrubina no se elimina de forma adecuada a trav\u00e9s del h\u00edgado y las v\u00edas biliares, sus niveles aumentan en sangre. Ello ocurre en diversas enfermedades del h\u00edgado, como las hepatitis, obstrucci\u00f3n de las v\u00edas biliares (por c\u00e1lculos biliares, pancreatitis, tumores de v\u00edas biliares o c\u00e1ncer de p\u00e1ncreas, etc.). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por otro lado, tambi\u00e9n pueden aumentarse los niveles de bilirrubina por un exceso de su producci\u00f3n, como ocurre en los casos de <strong>anemia hemol\u00edtica<\/strong>, en los que se produce una destrucci\u00f3n excesiva de los gl\u00f3bulos rojos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Fosfatasa_alcalina\"><\/span>Fosfatasa alcalina<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los niveles normales\nde fosfatasa alcalina oscilan entre 20 y 125 UI\/L. Esta enzima, adem\u00e1s de en el\nh\u00edgado, se produce tambi\u00e9n en los huesos o la placenta. Puede aumentar en caso\nde enfermedad hep\u00e1tica o de obstrucci\u00f3n de las v\u00edas biliares, pero tambi\u00e9n en\ncaso de enfermedades \u00f3seas o de ciertos tumores, por lo que debe ser
